BP Rolls Sponsor Ocado Driver of The Year Event

BP Rolls Group sponsored the 2019 Ocado Driver of the Year event which took place on 16th October at Donnington Park. Operations Director, Tariq Abul, attended and reported that it was an outstanding event, full of fast cars, classic cars, skid cars, vans, lorries and of course a variety of difficult manoeuvres set to challenge even the most skilled of drivers.

Our Operations Director, Tariq Abul, attended and reported that it was an outstanding event, full of fast cars, classic cars, skid cars, vans, lorries and of course a variety of difficult manoeuvres set to challenge even the most skilled of drivers.
Despite a damp start the annual event was an exciting day at Donnington Park, which saw the very best of their drivers competing across a number of challenges in the hope of being crowned the safest and most skilled in the fleet.
Tariq joined in the challenge with the Panasonic team and had a fantastic time taking part in all of the activities laid on by Ocado, including driving some vintage, American hero, film star and exotic and incredibly fast cars around the Race Track at Donnington along with other activities such as trying to control the skid car around a wet course, driving a Class 1 HGV lorry and parking the all-new electric delivery van into a very tight space.
The event continued into the evening with a gala dinner and of course the awards ceremony, attended by sponsors with associates from Paneltex Ltd, Aviva, Rygor, Driver Require and Marshall Fleet Solutions to name but a few.
