Chassis and Cab Alignment Jig
The BP Rolls commercial vehicle workshop is fitted with state-of-the-art Josam chassis straightening and cab alignment jigs. This means that we are able to restore the frame of even the most severely damaged trailer or cab frame, regardless of size, without the vehicle being declared a total loss. When we receive a badly damaged commercial vehicle, we assess the damage and set it up on our jig. The chassis is then straightened back to the manufacturer’s specifications and our team of highly qualified engineers set to work repairing damaged panels.
Our Josam cab bench also allows us to repair a damaged cab, which is a more cost effective solution than replacing it entirely. The cab bench has movable mounting points, which allows us to hook up even the most severely damaged cabs and this equipment can be used on practically every cab model manufactured by Mercedes, IVECO, Renault, Scania, Volvo, DAF, MAN Ford and Hino.
The re-straightened vehicle is then reassessed before we send it to our Commercial Paint Shop for respraying. Our one-stop-shop approach enables us to offer a complete solution on one site, so we can complete the required work faster and provide you with a quality repair from a BSI PAS125 accredited repairer.
Wheel Alignment Services
Alongside our chassis and cab alignment jigs, the BP Rolls commercial workshop is also fitted with a Josam wheel alignment tool, the Truckaligner 180°. This enables us to ensure that your vehicle is correctly aligned and assessed before it is returned to you in its pre-accident condition.
Regardless of vehicle size or type, the BP Rolls wheel alignment process uses lasers to take accurate measurements of the wheel positions. This allows us to quickly and efficiently diagnose the positions of the wheels, analyse how the axle is performing and test the camber of the vehicle.
Our wheel alignment service will reduce the level of wear on your tyres, which reduces the rate at which they need to be changed. This process enables you to operate your optimised vehicles in a cost-effective and streamlined manner.
