Humphrey Feeds & Pullets

BP Rolls Signs & Graphics produced livery graphics for Humprey Feeds and Pullets in line with their latest brand identity. Working closely with their design agency and liaising with Scania, we printed and applied graphics to the cabs and trailers straight off the production line to ensure a cost effective and timely roll out of the new look across their fleet.

Client

Founded in 1932, Humphrey Feeds & Pullets is a family run business with a specialist knowledge of poultry nutrition and husbandry, going back over three generations.Today, they are the UK’s leading dedicated poultry feed supplier and point of lay pullet supplier to the independent poultry farmer.Throughout the last 85 years, our mission has always been to advance poultry performance. They appreciate that their customers and their families trust them with their livelihoods, and are passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience, helping poultry farmers in every aspect of their business.

Challenge

Humphrey Feeds briefed BP Rolls to produce livery graphics for their fleet of cabs and trailers in line with their latest brand identity. Their design agency created a vision for the new look and supplied some brand guidelines along with high resolution photography that was shot specifically for the project. With a number of new cabs on order from Scania, Lloyd Phillips, Operations Director tasked the BP Rolls with producing the graphics to meet their delivery deadline.

Solution

Having worked with Humphrey Feeds for the last 5 years, the Signs and Graphics team at BP Rolls Group were already familiar with the company brand, however this time they had to work closely with the design agency to bring to life the photography supplied and adapt their creative vision to a design that would work across the cab and trailer. Printed in-house by BP Rolls, Metamark MD5 digital vinyl for the body of the trailer, and Arlon digital cast vinyl for the cabs.

Liaising with Scania, BP Rolls were able to schedule the graphics to be signed off and printed ready to apply to the new cabs as soon as they came off the production line, ensuring they were delivered on time. The new graphics will now be implemented across the current fleet. BP Rolls will be responsible for removal of the old livery and reinstate new livery on site at their HQ in Andover.
