Vehicle Paint Technician HULL

We have a full time, permanent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Paint Technician to join the busy Paint Unit at our Hull Depot. The team cover Commercial and Private paint repairs across a variety of transport and passenger vehicles, representing, major National brands and local businesses.

This position would be ideally suited to a vehicle paint technician who has worked in accident repair centres previously and is able to mix, prepare and apply a high level of workmanship in all areas of vehicle paint repair. Experience gained on Commercial and larger vehicles would be a significant advantage.

Requirements

- Ideally a recognised technical qualification earned to Level 3 in vehicle paint repair but experience and skills gained commensurate to Level 3 will also be considered.

- It is essential that you have at least 3 years of experience working as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer.

- Demonstrate strong capability for Commercial Vehicle Painting along with the appropriate use of required tools for prepping,repairing and repainting.

- You will work to a high standard and demonstrate a sound, up-to-date technical knowledge.

- You must be able to cover all areas of the painting process, refinishing vehicles to manufacturer specifications and using specialist’s paints to a perfect finish.

- Follow strict H&S guidelines across the Depot to ensure adherence to policy and procedures. Ensure that all equipment used is well maintained and cleaned.

- You must be a strong team player whilst having the confidence to work on your own initiative too.

- Working at heights can be required depending on the vehicle.

Monday to Friday – 45 hours per week
