We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Fitter & Technician to join our busy HGV & Trailer Depot, based in Andover. This is a permanent, full-time role, joining an experienced team of talented technicians in a highly productive environment.

HGV Technician / Fitter

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong experience and skills in all areas of heavy vehicle fitting and technical repair. Capable of working to high standards & required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance, inspection and repair of our HGV and PCV fleet.

Requirements:

- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in heavy goods vehicle maintenance and repair.

- Possess recent, previous experience working in a heavy goods workshop, with a solid understanding of the industry and appropriate professional techniques.

- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to identify and resolve complex faults efficiently.

- Excellent mechanical aptitude, with a thorough understanding of vehicle systems, components, and operating principles

- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and industry-standard tools to perform accurate repairs and maintenance.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

- Effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

- Adaptable and responsive to changing priorities and operational demands.

- Completing all necessary paperwork, and cross team liaison

You will be working alongside skilled craftsmen and have experience in all aspects of Commercial Vehicle body repair:
