Andover College are hosting a Careers Fair and Enterprise Day for local students on 20th March 2020 and BP Rolls Group will be attending.
Students from the college and local schools are invited to attend to find out more about careers and apprenticeships available in the local area and BP Rolls were delighted to confirm their attendance at the event.
Hannah Murphy, Lecturer in Business, is organising the event and explains why it is so important:
“As well as being a platform for promoting general brand awareness for local businesses, it is also a great opportunity for students to learn about apprenticeship opportunities in their area.”
BP Rolls are currently on the lookout for their next influx of apprentices, either school or college leavers for roles in Vehicle Mechanics, Bodywork, Panel Beating and Paint Spraying. The local family run business, which was established in 1966, has a long standing relationship with Andover College, with many of their employees having studied there in their early careers. In fact, there are a few members of staff who started out as apprentices and have since been employed for over 25 years!
