BP Rolls mentoring business students at Andover School

On 8th March 2019, BP Rolls will be taking part in the Young Enterprise Launchpad Challenge at John Hanson Community School in Andover. Through a series of hands-on, fun activities students will engage in a number of sessions during the day where they will discover the importance of key skills for business, the workplace and future lives in general.
Our Marketing Manager, Louise Ellison taking part in the event which will see the students working in small teams, participate in a number of competitive business challenge where they work on the early stages of launching a fledgeling business. They will use employability skills and develop new ones.
“As a former pupil of the school, I am looking forward to being involved with this project and give something back. At BP Rolls we are currently working on our Corporate and Social Responsibility Policy, so an initiative like Young Enterprise is the perfect way for us to fulfil our commitment to community outreach and education,” says Louise.
Throughout the day students will be introduced to the 8 key skills that employers are looking for such as Teamwork, Problem Solving, Financial Capability, Communication, Initiative, Confidence, Resilience and Organisation.
