BP Rolls helps launch Kukd.com

Excited by the prospect of helping to launch this new business, we set straight to work supplying and fitting two 17.5ton Mercedes refrigerated heavy goods vehicles. Once we had received the artwork we started performing our rigorous artwork checking steps and immediately noticed that the design had been based on a slightly different body.

Our in-house design studio was able to make adjustments to the layouts, which were needed to achieve exactly what the client was looking for. With close communications with their marketing team, BP Rolls Signs and Graphics were able to make up-to-the-minute artwork amendments, while providing Kuked.com with sample prints and material specifications.

Upon receiving sign-off for the updated artwork, the next step was to fire up our trusty HP wide-format printers and output the graphics using Arlon Premium Print Media 4600LX, a low profile printing media with X-Scape technology built into it. This has the advantage of giving a paint-like, long lasting finish and allows for an easy installation with a flawless bubble-free finish, which also has a life of up-to five years.

We have just finished applying the new Kukd.com livery to three additional 13.6 metre trailers at our Newport depot. The artwork for these trailers has been adapted using elements from the original 17.5ton bodies, to produce a flawless finish for our client. From December we will start fitting livery to their new fleet of ten 7.5ton vehicles.
