At BP Rolls Automotive we strongly believe that prevention can be more cost effective that cure, and by preparing your car for winter driving conditions you can avoid costly breakdowns and repairs.

Our 36 point check includes battery and alternator condition, with a printed report, exhaust condition, tyre condition and pressure, steering and suspension check. We will also check the cooling system condition and levels, brake condition and fluid levels, engine oil levels, wiper blade condition and condition of exterior lights. We will top up both your anti-freeze and screen wash, then wash and vac your car for that extra finishing touch.

Winter Health Check – Why do we focus on these areas?

• Tyres: Tyres are essential in keeping you safe on the roads especially during the winter months with the risk of snow and ice.
• Battery: During the winter we naturally use more electrical components such as heating and lights which place additional demands on the battery.
• Coolant: It is paramount to check your coolant levels as water alone can freeze rendering your coolant system useless.
• Wiper Blades: Bad weather means that visibility on the road is even more important. The safety check includes inspecting your wiper blades to ensure they are free of splits and damage.
• Light Bulbs: Ensuring your vehicle’s lights are working correctly is critical for your own safety and other road users as it allows you to be able to see and help others to see you.
