This position would be ideally suited to a vehicle paint technician who has worked in accident repair centres previously and is able to mix, prepare and apply a high level of workmanship in all areas of vehicle paint repair. Experience gained on Commercial and larger vehicles would be a significant advantage.

Requirements

• Ideally, a recognised technical qualification earned to Level 3 in vehicle paint repair but experience and skills gained commensurate to Level 3 will also be considered.
• It is essential that you have at least 3 years of experience working as a Vehicle Paint Technician.
• Demonstrate strong capability for Commercial Vehicle Painting along with the appropriate use of required tools for prepping, repairing and repainting.
• You will work to a high standard and demonstrate a sound, up-to-date technical knowledge.
• You must be able to cover all areas of the painting process, refinishing vehicles to manufacturer specifications and using specialist’s paints to a perfect finish.
• Follow strict H&S guidelines across the Depot to ensure adherence to policy and procedures. Ensure that all equipment used is well maintained and cleaned.
• You must be a strong team player whilst having the confidence to work on your own initiative too.
• Working at heights can be required depending on the vehicle.
