Commercial Vehicle Panel Beater (late shift) - Andover

If you are ATA qualified, and have at least 3 years experience as a Panel Beater in a busy, commercial or light commercial workshop environment, this could be the next step in your career.

Role & Responsibilities

You will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturer’s specifications, using modern equipment and techniques.

The role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Carry out panel beating / dent repair
  • Repair and replace panels to the highest standards
  • Remove and refit components before and after the vehicle is refinished
  • Carry out panel replacements

Person Specification

  • You will be currently working as a Panel Beater or have had previous experience in this role working in an established bodyshop with a good knowledge of products and repair techniques.
  • You will ideally be ATA Qualified or willing to work towards this.
  • We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is extremely capable with a proven track record of ability in dealing with a wide range of manufacturers and models.
  • You must be used to working under time pressure as you will be expected to use your initiative in order to be productive and cost-efficient, ensuring high-quality standards are met in order to maintain our customer satisfaction.
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm for your work are important.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary is dependent on experience, with a very generous bonus structure creating competitive on-target earnings
  • .This is a permanent late shift role, with standard working hours Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm
  • Occasional Saturdays are not mandatory at present however they might be required in the future subject to business demand so you will need to have a flexible approach to this.
  • Overtime subject to availability paid at a standard rate.
  • 20 days annual holiday plus bank holidays.
